The House Villa Lara is situated in the “Riviera of the Olives”, in the middle of a rich vegetation of cypresses and colour-splendid oleander trees.
For more than over 40 years the family Benamati lays big value on greeting their guests personally. In a wonderful area of unique nature the family tries to perform the stay of the guests as pleasant as only possibly.
If anyone searches rest, he will find rest, and with the friendliness of the family you will soon feel like being at home. Thanks to the direct position to the Gardalake, one can observe early in the morning hours numerous windsurfers and windsailers.
Our family company also lies at the foot of Monte Baldo with a great view on the peak of the mountain. With the nearby cable car, the mountain is accessible in shortest time and offers panoramas of unique beauty. On different footpaths one is able to do short or extensive wanderings in the " botanical garden " of Italy.
Wanderings in a height of 600 m or in the high mountains which have a height of about 1800 m (if one would like to reach the peak), offer an extraordinary view over the lake and the Tristiner mountains which end up in the Dolomites.
Along the promenade of the lake you can observe romantic sunrises in the evening hours.

The Villa Lara is situated near the centre of Malcesine. You can reach the Old Center Town on a new cycle path, which runs along the Gardalake, within a few minutes.
Cobbled pavements, narrow romantic lanes, cultivated places and various shops invite you to the evening shopping stroll. Here you can also find a small harbour, from which one can comfortably reach all the other wonderful places around the lake by ship.
In the middle of the garden, there is a modern, generously constructed swimming-pool, with underwater massages, numerous places to lie and changing rooms. Here one can find in the shade of very old olive trees the absolute rest and relaxation.
After an extensive breakfast on the refreshment bar, you have got the possibility to take a small snack or some mediterranean specialities at noon. Typical specialities from the area and especially from the “Villa Lara” are offered for dinner. All dishes are home-made, and the family uses selfpressed olive oil from their own olive trees, vegetables from their own garden, as well as products from their own agriculture. Self-pressed red wine from the own vineyards is also served daily. Each room has not only got a balcony, but also a toilet and a shower, and most of the rooms have a view on the “Gardalake”.
Extraordinary is the view on the completely preserved and famous castle of the "Scaliiger" During the whole summer months performances like choral concerts, linguistic courses, piano evenings, theatre performances and song evenings take place there. Parking places can be found in our own court, the gate can be locked up, but there are also roofed garages, if they are required.
